| Finally, please remember that I am running this site in my spare time. My aim is to have the site updated by 7:30pm on Saturdays, and 11:30pm weekdays when there are games being played. However, while I will endeavour to keep it as accurate and up-to-date as possible, there may be occasions when I am not in a position to update it immediately. When this happens I will usually give some pre-warning of the situation on the site (either on the front page or this page). |

Redesign
I am currently working on a redesign of the whole Football Statistics website. Amongst other purposes, this will hopefully allow me to save enough space to add more leagues and some more features to the system. I'm hopeful that the initial changes will be done and in place before the end of the current (2003/4) season - if not, they will definitely be done before the new season starts. |
Improve Predicted League Table based on Current Form
This currently uses a fairly crude method to predict the final league table, whereby the team's current form is simply projected forwards to the end of the season, so a team that has not lost in the last six games will be shown as not losing any more games, and a team that is on a long losing streak will be shown as not winning any more games. I'm thinking of ways to improve on this, including attempting to take into account both teams' current form on a game-by-game basis. |
Add non-league stats
Data for the lower leagues may be added. This is dependent on time and space constraints (my time and the amount of free web space I get ;-)). Not likely this season, but some lower leagues may be added next year. In particular the Nationwide Conference would be the first to be added, as it feeds into Nationwide League Division 3. |
